WCF ANNOUNCEMENT

Thank you for your interest in attending the Women’s “Reasoning Together” Conference of April 2025. This message contains crucial information and instructions about the upcoming zoom calls and April 12th meeting. Please be sure to read through to the end.
Every woman of the movement is invited to register and attend the zoom calls whether or not they will be present for the April 12th meeting. Please share this announcement with any women you believe would have an interest in women’s council (WCL) or women’s conference (WCF) matters.
You must register to receive the documentation, zoom links, and updates associated with this conference. The zoom calls and materials you’ll receive are a part of the conference. They are not incidental. You do not need to be present at the April 12th meeting in order to register and receive access to these materials.
You can register by emailing upcomingconferencesubmissions@gmail.com. Please let us know in your RSVP email if you are planning to attend the April 12th session so we can ensure we have enough seating for everyone at our venue.

On June 20, 2024 the Lord gifted us a revelation about protecting the rights of the accused and a solution to resolving any unresolvable disputes regarding WCLs.
This conference will be focused on honoring the Lord’s instructions and putting a dispute about a specific women’s council to rest. We are aware that this topic may be distressing for some, however, in spite of extensive efforts to mediate and resolve our dispute, we have been unable to find resolution. As per the Lord’s instructions, we are turning to our fellow covenant sisters to hear our reasonings, complaints, rebuttals, and evidence and to cast the final vote on the matter.
Below is the revelation we are following as we build out the processes for this WCF. (Further clarification can be found in an upcoming document titled Reasoning Together 2025 Processes):
“Let the women call a conference at a suitable time and place convenient to allow interested women to attend. Have your wife, Stephanie Snuffer conduct the conference deliberations and let any who want to speak present their concerns. Reason together and draw upon the experiences from those past women’s councils. Let the women learn to come to agreement and the voice of that conference decides all matters raised. And I remind you that the majority of those who vote decide the voice of the conference of women. If 100 vote, the vote of 51 decides the matter. And, if another dispute later arises from other women’s councils, and there is a need, call another conference of the women and resolve the dispute by the voice of the women’s conference, as often as need
arises...” - June 20, 2024 Revelation (Posted on Denver Snuffer’s blog, July 19, 2024)
Fairness & Discernment
We feel it is of the utmost importance that the deliberations be held in a fair and equitable manner. It is our intention to not only ensure fairness in the hearing but also to allow YOU, the women of this conference, time to ponder and pray before casting your vote.
Our goals for this conference are as follows:

-
To do everything in our power to facilitate Discernment and Wisdom in the deliberations
-
To set this dispute to rest no matter how the vote goes
Our processes have been built around the following principles:
-
Equitable and fair opportunity for each party to present their reasoning and case
-
Sufficient time for the women of the conference to consider the dispute in a private, prayerful, and emotionally regulated environment prior to voting
-
An emphasis on “reasoning together”. We each have different perspectives on the Lord’s instructions. The hope is that although we may differ in spiritual matters we can “learn to come to agreement” on WCL conduct.

Every voice in this conference will matter. Because there is so much information that will be released we are asking that you do a bit of homework each week. The zoom calls and documentation you’ll receive are a part of the conference. They are not incidental and if you do not keep up on the documentation or zoom calls you will miss crucial pieces of this conference.
All who attend on April 12th will be allowed to vote whether they have kept themselves informed or not. Please consider that this dispute is complex. The more information and prayerful reflection you allow yourself to have, the more Wisdom and Discernment you will bring to this vote.

All information you will be basing your judgement upon will be released over the next 4 weeks. It will be posted weekly, piece by piece, side by side with equal opportunity for both parties to inform and reason with you. There will be opportunities for you to ask questions and receive answers from the women involved in this dispute. There will be time set aside for you to reason together in our meetings. The days between our meetings will allow you to further reason together and collect your thoughts in private communion between you and the Lord.
Zoom Calls
The Zoom calls will be held on March 23rd, March 30th, and April 6th at 7:00 PM.
No specific details about the WCL in question will be given until after the zoom calls have concluded on April 6th. The goal is to keep emotions from clouding our judgement as we focus on reasoning. We will be considering the Lord’s revelations and seeking greater understanding of the Spirit intended for His instructions.
Together, we and the WCL will submit our reasoning in writing the Friday prior to each call. This is to help you understand how the different lines of reasoning have brought about our dispute. At the meeting the WCL and ourselves will each give a presentation and then open the call up for moderated discussion and questions.
Over the following week you are invited to discuss these ideas with your fellow covenant members, study the scriptures, and ponder and pray over the Lord’s intentions for these topics.
April 7th
At the conclusion of the zoom calls you will have the opportunity to apply your reasoning to an actual WCL dispute. On April 7th the full complaints, rebuttals, and evidence will be released to those who have registered for the conference. The details of the procedures used by the council in question will be yours to consider in the days leading up to the April 12th hearing.
This conference is not about retrying the accused man, therefore, any details of the charges and witnesses brought against him will remain private. We will only be considering whether the man was given a fair trial and whether we as a community will choose to uphold these WCLs as fair and in alignment with the Lord’s instructions.
The vote on the procedures is not a vote on the man’s worthiness to hold a priesthood certificate. Should the WCF determine the council was not held to the Lord’s instructions, the man’s certificate should be considered undisputed and intact. A fair and legitimate WCL can then be held for the man at a future date should any women determine it is important to do so.
April 12th Meeting
On the day of April 12th all who wish to vote on this matter will convene for the final hearing. Both parties will present their case to the WCF and you will be given the opportunity to ask clarifying questions on the various complaints. At the end of the day you will be asked to cast your vote and in so doing, you will settle this dispute as the Lord has instructed.
Voting and the Lord’s will
It is important to understand that the WCF vote is not deciding the will of the Lord. It is deciding the will of the community. There will inevitably be differences of opinion and reasoning among us. It is certain that we will not have a unanimous vote. The Lord has never allowed popular opinion to determine His truths and He’s not going to begin with us. You will be voting on the standards of conduct you are willing to accept for women’s councils and the voice of the majority will decide the matter.
Nothing about this vote will be writing in a rule of law. Precedent will only be set for and by each individual woman and the reasoning that rests in her own heart.
